Our design process spans from system analysis and concept all the way through to detail, qualification and production supply. By being involved throughout the full process, we can utilise our knowledge and experience to fully optimise the design of the system, which in turn maximises efficiency and minimises weight and cost.
International codes of practice
Our design work is covered in AS9100, the International Quality Management System standard for the Aviation, Space and Defense industries. We also work to AS9145, which supports New Product Introduction.

In-house integrations, such as our New Product Introduction process, promote a cross-functional development system. We also work closely with our sister companies Senior Aerospace SSP, SATE and Calorstat, and collaborate where possible with research centres to develop innovative solutions.

Design solutions backed by CAD technology
We employ a range of software in our design solutions. For instance, we utilise CATIA v5 and Autodesk Inventor for the 2D and 3D realisation of products and technical specifications. For stress and CFD analysis, we use ANSYS software. With the support of this specialised software, our engineers have the flexibility and speed required to respond to the needs of customers.
